OfficeSwapCookie Policy
The short version: officeswap.co doesn't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and the OfficeSwap iPhone app doesn't use cookies at all. The few things that are stored are listed below, so you know exactly what they are. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What's stored in your browser
Our website saves a few small pieces of information in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless noted, and nothing in them is used to track you.
- Web app sign-in (officeswap.co/app): an anonymous sign-in token for our database, the access code of the organization you're signed in to, your name (if you entered one) and the location you last viewed on the board. These keep you signed in between visits.
- Free trial offer (home page): a note that the trial offer has already been shown to you, so it isn't shown again.
Signing out of the web app removes the organization from your browser. You can also clear all of it anytime in your browser's settings.
2. Cookies set by our service providers
- Stripe, our payment processor, sets cookies on the sign-up page to process payments securely and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website, may set a cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic and keep the site secure. See Cloudflare's cookies.
- Google Fonts provides our typeface. Your browser downloads the font files from Google, which receives your IP address but doesn't set cookies.
These are strictly necessary for the website to work, so they don't need your consent under most privacy laws.
3. What we don't use
No advertising cookies, no analytics or tracking cookies, no social media pixels, and no cookies that follow you to other websites. We don't sell or share information about your browsing.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. Blocking Stripe's cookies may stop you from completing sign-up, and clearing site data signs you out of the web app.
5. Changes
If we change what we store, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
